Mathew M Williams, a name once only known in the elite underground world of music fashion icons, has been recently appointed to replace Claire Waight Keller as creative director of fashion house Givenchy. With many expectations and eyes on him, the 34-year-old Californian has sure risen to the creative task in front of him, and not only met but sparked big interest for many fashionistas out there. The new collection can be described as a mix between an edgy rockstar from the sunset strip, mixed with a hip hop icon from NYC, and an avant-garde couture addict from the underground of Paris. With a very refreshing take on what Givenchy's attitude should be for today's day and age, It's safe to say Matthew was the right choice to navigate the new horizons.
